Ria's DreamWorld

Welcome to this wonderful li'l world of mine! Hi, I am Ria Sanghvi, a li'l baby all excited at arriving in this world! Unlike you all 'smart and fun-loving' kinds, I like to cry, poop, whine, stink, act cute, suck, laugh, crib, act dumb and wet anything and everything. Here's a glimpse into my world, as I know and imagine it.

Flight to India, with a bad start...

Today we left for our next trip to India... my third trip in the last 20months :-)

The trip, as always, was planned at the last minute, and unfortunately we couldn't get seats together... Mom and I managed to get a bulkhead seat so I could sleep in a bassinet later, but in the process Dad had a separate seat. During take-off, when Mom buckled up the seat belt... I could turn my head and see him in his aisle seat two rows back, but Mom wouldn't let me run to him... and then my crying began. Now, in all the 40+ flights I've flown, I was always a good girl and never cried for more than a few minutes, but today I compensated for it all! And it continued for the next 20min (during which I threw-up twice) till the seat-belts sign went off and Dad picked-me up and started comforting me...

After that, things were smoother, a couple of people volunteered to swap their seats, and we got 3 together, and then I was all comfy.

At the Heathrow airport, Dad left us at the security check for terminal 4, and waved us good-bye. I couldn't understand, and Mom explained that Dad's going to 'London bridge' office while we are going to 'India' to meet 'nana-nani, dada-dadi'...

Next day, I understood completely!
