One-liner of the Day: Kadi-pappa

"aap toh kadi-pappa eat nahi karte ho na... isi liye aapke hair long nahi hoenge....! "

and i remembered....!

While I was trying to open my sweater button, Mom told me - Ria be careful else you will break your botton. I immediately quipped, 'Woh Shobha dadi hai na, woh button laga dengi'. Yes I remembered how dadi stitched the button when she was in NY last September.

A few other interesting things happened....

Mom was generally chatting with me, and saying that Ria you'll now have to take extra care of me. I said "Don't worry ma, woh Nani is coming na?... She will take care of you", repeating what I'm told me a couple of months back.

The non-working bulb in Elevator#3, Jack Sparrow himself being a 'ghost' in Pirates-of-the-caribbean part 1 while watching part 2, Shweta chachi having a baby in her tummy when I met her last year...... I remember them, especially everything that was ever promised to me by my mom or dad :-)
